Singing for Wellbeing
SINGING FOR EVERYONE
Hetty is passionate about singing for wellbeing and the positive effects of music on health.
Studies show that singing has many physical, emotional and social benefits. Singing releases endorphins and makes us feel good. The pleasure of singing in a group is a great boost to self-confidence and well-being.
Hetty leads weekly 'Music for Memory' sessions for the elderly and those living with dementia for Jewish Care in Friern Barnet and at Care Homes around London.
Hetty's Singing for Wellbeing groups emphasise enjoying yourself while singing well-known songs, as well as learning new ones in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Hetty performs for the MIH Charity at a number of Hospitals and Care Homes around the UK and she enjoys performing regularly at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital for the CW+ Charity.
